Design

Our 4-star boutique hotel in the Marais district of Paris offers travellers a unique atmosphere, designed by the famous fashion designer Christian Lacroix.

He fell under the spell of the establishment's atypical 'biscornus' and 'labyrinthine' spaces, similar to the setting of a 'doll's house'.

Each room and suite is decorated in a personalised and trendy manner.

The spirit of Christian Lacroix and his unmistakable style is evident throughout the details of the hotel.

History

It was originally the oldest bakery in Paris, dating from the time of Henri IV. The exterior was renovated in the 1900s and is listed as a historical monument.

Legend has it that whilst living in Place des Vosges in the 17th century, Victor Hugo used to come here to get his bread!
